About Us

Jake Publishing LLC was formed in 2004 and soon thereafter began plans to launch Boston Spirit, Boston’s Premier Gay and Lesbian magazine. The magazine is a glossy, full color, publication that is available at no cost (although you must request a subscription by completing the form on the ‘Subscribe’ page of this website), and mailed directly to your home.

On a bi-monthly basis, we will bring you feature articles on all that is happening in the gay and lesbian community in Greater Boston.  Along with stories on leaders from the worlds of business, politics, and entertainment, we will also keep you up to date on all the latest hot spots, give you a dose of scandal, and a variety of special sections.  Our staff consists of some of the best writers in town and they are hard at work to bring you the high quality editorial that you deserve.
